Colchester-based Titon (TON:157p), a small-cap designer and maker of domestic ventilation systems, and door and window hardware warned of a slowdown in its South Korean operations three months ago ('Investors overreact to Titon’s warning’, 19 February 2019), so investors were in for a pleasant surprise when the company reported a 26 per cent rise in first half underlying pre-tax profits to £1.3m on flat revenues of £14.3m in the six months to end March 2019.
